Nature is at my very core, but I did make a move from the northwest hills of CT to Queens, about five years ago. I know what you're thinking..."WHY?" ...Well, it's a long story, but I do get away to my folks' in CT, on occasional weekends. As an Elementary Teacher and Environmental Educator, teaching young children (especially city kids) about the environment, and providing opportunities for them to connect with nature, is vital to me.
