All the wrong places...

Hello! My name is Dalton. I am a drama-free kind of man. I tend to keep a positive outlook, whether life gives me rain or sunshine. I love doing things outdoors like backpacking or fishing, but I am just as content indoors with good book or movie. I enjoy good conversation, but not endless small talk. I like to laugh, and would love to find someone with a sense of humor. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a geek, but you wouldn't know it right away. (I'm more linux than windows, if that makes sense.) I like to collect useless but interesting bits of information on the off chance that it might be useful. I'm a little old fashioned, but I keep an open mind. I am originally from Oklahoma, but I joined the Navy and don't ever plan to go back there for more than a short visit. I have children, but they don't live with me. I am a devoted father, but unfortunately my military career has pulled me away from them for now. Because of that I travel to Virginia to see them on weekends as often as possible. I'm divorced and though I am in no hurry change that, I'm confident that the right person will come along some day. I'm not seeking a long term relationship right now, but I'm not opposed to the idea. Right now I'd just like to start with some decent company. I'm a straight shooter. I give honesty, respect, and devotion and expect the same in return. I want a friend and companion, and I won't settle for a relationship without a strong connection. My life has taken some twists and turns, but they have made me what I am and I wouldn't change a bit of it. Okay, I wouldn't change much. Wow, I didn't think I would be able to come up with anything to say about myself. Honestly, I don't expect to find anyone here, but who knows?
